All Star Press is proud to present Still Undefeated featuring the works of Chicago artist JC Rivera. Still Undefeated showcases the life and legacy of JC’s iconic character the Bear Champ, his legendary moniker that has become part of Chicago’s contemporary art scene and culture. We look at the Bear Champ as an undefeated boxing champion, who continues to face their own internal conflicts and roll with the ‘punches in life’.
The show features a range of multi-media works that include printmaking, original paintings, to hand-customized objects, and wearables. This is JC Rivera’s first solo-show at All Star Press and will take a closer look at JC’s artistic practice, the bear champ, and the art of boxing.
